I'm Dr. Kat Thigpen, DACM, L.Ac. — a doctor of acupuncture and Chinese medicine, burnout recovery coach, and wellness business consultant. I built Sunshower Collective because I went looking for the kind of support I needed most and couldn't find it, so I built it instead.
What “Sunshower”Means
A sunshower is a rare moment when sunlight and rain appear together, proof that hard things and good things can exist in the same breath. And when rain falls, it never falls on just one person; it touches everyone nearby. That's the collective: the ripple every one of us creates when we take care of ourselves, or don't.
A Different Kind of Support
Sunshower Collective is the sunshine in the rain. Not the absence of hard things, but warmth and clarity that exist alongside them. It's a coaching and consulting practice for whatever season you're in: growing a wellness business, running one, recovering from burnout, or simply learning to understand your own patterns and energy again.
Every framework here is built on real clinical training, real business experience, and a simple belief: play and joy aren't the reward for doing the hard work. They're part of how the hard work actually gets done.
